Join WSP as a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist, leading complex infrastructure projects across Ontario. Drive permitting strategies and ensure compliance with environmental regulations for successful project delivery.

In this leadership role, you will spearhead environmental permitting and approvals for large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. Your expertise will guide regulatory processes from detailed design to construction, while managing stakeholder relationships. With over ten years of experience, you will provide strategic regulatory advice and oversee the acquisition of necessary permits and licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental permitting strategies for major infrastructure initiatives

• Guide clients on regulatory pathways and risk management

• Develop permitting plans and approvals matrices

• Serve as liaison with regulators and Indigenous communities

• Support compliance during the construction phase

Requirements:

• 10+ years in environmental permitting in Ontario

• Strong knowledge of provincial and federal regulations

• Proven track record in delivering major infrastructure projects

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field
