Environmental Hydrogeologist

This temporary position within the Drinking Water and Environmental Compliance Division emphasizes your skills in hydrogeological methods and environmental assessments. You will lead field investigations to evaluate environmental risks and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders. Your contributions will play a critical role in assuring Ontario's water resources are safeguarded. Additionally, you'll provide expert testimony for legal matters concerning groundwater management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct technical reviews on groundwater-related activities
• Lead field investigations and risk assessments
• Advise during environmental emergencies and compliance issues
• Prepare detailed scientific presentations for stakeholders
• Support legal cases with expert insights
Requirements:
• Registered geoscientist or trainee with PGO
• Degree specialized in Hydrogeology or Earth Sciences
• Class 'G' driver's license required
• Strong knowledge of contaminant hydrogeology
• Proven project management and investigative skills
