WSP is looking for a Designer specializing in Bridges and Civil Structures. In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineers and technologists, and focus on preparing structural designs, detailing transportation infrastructure that aligns with Canadian standards. Your contributions will be vital to ensure safety, quality, and sustainability in all designs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed structural designs and drawings for bridges
• Develop design packages for civil infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on coordinated solutions
• Assist with cost estimates and constructability reviews
• Participate in design reviews and improve outputs
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience in bridge and civil structure design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software
• Knowledge of Canadian design codes and standards
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
