Geotechnical Field Technician

In this role, you will join the Geotechnical team at EXP, focusing on various testing projects in Kingston, Ontario. Strong people skills and effective communication are essential, as you will interact with clients and contractors. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site concrete tests like slump and air content

• Conduct soil compaction tests at construction sites

• Execute soil and asphalt hot-mix sampling on-site

• Manage in-lab tasks like testing cylinders and gradation analysis

• Provide exemplary service to on-site clients and contractors

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant concrete/soils/asphalt testing experience

• Strong math skills for accurate testing

• Diploma in Civil Technology or equivalent preferred

• Valid Canadian driver’s license required

• CCIL or ACI Certification is an asset
