Entry-Level Geotechnical Technician Egis

As part of the geotechnical field team, you'll support critical investigations related to infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include coring operations, documenting subsurface conditions, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should be enrolled in a Civil Engineering program with foundational knowledge of soil mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform asphalt and concrete coring in construction environments
• Observe and record borehole logging processes
• Conduct onsite inspections for geotechnical characteristics
• Maintain accurate documentation for project needs
• Collaborate with laboratory teams for sample transfers
Requirements:
• Ongoing Civil Engineering or Technology studies
• Up to 3 years of fieldwork experience preferred
• Familiarity with drilling operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid G Class Driver’s Licence for site travel
