This full-time position seeks an Automation Technician to assist at Qnity’s Kingston Research Facility. You will design and support control systems for chemical pilot plants using advanced automation software and hardware. Collaborating with engineers, you will focus on achieving reliable performance and operational excellence in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and test control systems for pilot plants
• Provide maintenance support and troubleshooting assistance
• Ensure systems meet operational and safety requirements
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on projects
• Create Process and Instrumentation Drawings using AutoCAD
Requirements:
• Minimum two years of relevant automation experience
• Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC and automation tools
• College diploma or relevant engineering degree
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Rockwell Automation
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
