YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:- Reporting to the Manager, Tailings, Water and Environment, you will be part of the TMA Department. As a Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of site‑based capital projects and studies while promoting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental stewardship.
- Support the execution of the TMA and Water Resources project portfolio;
- Assist with site‑based capital projects throughout the project development lifecycle;
- Contribute to the development of business cases, project scopes, and technical feasibility reviews in collaboration with project sponsors and senior engineers;
- Support coordination with external engineering consultants to complete detailed engineering deliverables;
- Assist with preparing project cost estimates and Applications for Expenditures (AFE);
- Work with procurement and contracts teams to support tendering activities, technical bid evaluations, and contractor selection;
- Support construction activities by monitoring progress, coordinating field activities, and helping resolve technical or schedule issues;
- Ensure project work complies with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements;
- Track project costs and schedules, assist with forecasting, and report variances to the project team;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management tools, standards, and processes.
