Financial Services Representative (Permanent, Full-time)
Location: Kingston, ON
Hours: 37.5 hours per week;
Monday to Saturday
Rate of Pay: $872.10 - $1,299.50 per week (plus applicable benefits)
Compensation:
Compensation for this position is determined by skills, experience, and education. It is aligned with the location's market data, as well as internal equity. Candidates whose qualifications more closely align with the job requirements may be placed higher within the compensation range. Actively promote, sell and deliver all investment products and servicesContribute towards the growth of the investment portfolio by attaining individual goals and objectives on an annual basis.Assist with the development of business opportunities to establish a profitable investment portfolio within the corporate objectives of the credit union.Identify and generate sales opportunities; cross sell all Credit Union products and services and participate in sales programs, and initiatives to attain individual, branch and organizational goals.Monitor the renewal of maturing investments, ensuring that members receive appropriate notice, advising them of alternative options and assisting them with renewals. In a similar nature, contact members when the aforementioned products have not been renewed or will be transferred out, to discuss options with them.Complete appropriate documentation accurately in order to process and key in transactions and update records.Complete Mutual Fund licensing requirements within six months of start date. Followed by or in conjunction with all internal training requirements applicable to Mutual Fund Sales.Qualifications:
Post-secondary education with emphasis in financial planning or management would be preferredMinimum of two years of financial services industry experienceTwo years of sales, service and investment administration and/or sales experienceWorking towards Mutual Funds LicenseAdvanced member service and sales skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsAt Kawartha Financial Services diversity and inclusion are reflected in our core values and highlighted in our care for others.
