Become a vital part of the City of Brockville's Economic & Development Services team as a Bylaw Enforcement Officer. This full-time role emphasizes compliance education and investigation to uphold community standards.

In this essential position, you will report to the Supervisor of By-Law Services and address municipal bylaws affecting property standards, noise, parking, and more.

Your role supports community health and safety through enforcement actions and public education. Ideal candidates will have strong judgment and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate by-law complaints and enforce compliance

• Educate residents about municipal laws carefully

• Issue notices and warnings per the Provincial Offences Act

• Prepare evidence and reports for municipal hearings

• Manage domestic animals running at large efficiently

Requirements:

• Two-year College Diploma in relevant field

• Minimum one year of municipal enforcement experience

• Strong legal knowledge including Provincial Offences Act

• Valid Class G driver's license required

• Excellent interpersonal and judgment skills needed
