Registered with the College of Kinesiology of OntarioGraduate of university Kinesiology degree programNew licensed grad may applyPreferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation is considered an assetKey Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapistDesign, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programsTeach exercise classes to seniors Retirement Residence in WestboroPerform biweekly reassessment of client progress through functional testingRecord functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basisWork cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goalsConduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clientsComplete functional components of reports for initial, progress and dischargeEnsure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chartInclusion
