PRIMARY FUNCTION
Reporting within the Project Management Office (PMO), the Project Coordinator provides oversight and delivery coordination support for the Technology Services workstream in the CIO portfolio. You will help keep Technology Services–supported projects organized and moving forward by coordinating schedules and meetings, maintaining project documentation (actions, decisions, risks/issues/dependencies), and supporting clear communication between technical teams, vendors, and operational interest holders. The portfolio may include initiatives such as network switch replacements, preventative maintenance programs for large volumes of end‑user devices, and coordination of technology activities that align with or support related projects (e.g., construction projects with technology requirements).
This is a coordination and oversight role—hands‑on technical build/configuration is not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES INCLUDE
Support the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects and initiatives led by the PMO
Provide coordination support for assigned Technology Services initiatives and projects (e.g., devices/hardware refreshes, network/connectivity projects), including organizing and supporting multiple working groups.
Coordinate project‑related meetings, workshops, and events
Support coordination and communication with project interest holders
Assist with drafting and distributing project‑related communications and documentation
Perform other project and department‑related duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
CAPM certification considered an asset
1–3 years of relevant project coordination or project support experience
Experience supporting technology services initiatives (e.g., devices/hardware, networking, infrastructure, or technology‑enabled operational projects) in healthcare or similarly complex environments is preferred
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and elevate risks, issues, and dependencies
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate project updates for technical and non‑technical audiences
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, vendors, and diverse interest holder groups
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate complex project activities, manage competing priorities, and maintain clear, accurate documentation and schedules
Experience using project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Teams/SharePoint, or similar) for tracking, scheduling, and reporting
Comfortable working with basic technology concepts and terminology (e.g., end‑user devices, peripherals, networking/connectivity) to support coordination; not a hands‑on technical build role
Demonstrated reliability and ability to attend work regularly
Satisfactory criminal reference check and vulnerable sector search required
