DevOps Engineer

Due to an urgent and expanding backlog of CI/CD tickets for the Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) SaaS program, our client is seeking two skilled CI/CD subcontractors. This engagement is designed for immediate impact: the successful candidates will join the existing CI/CD team, accelerate ticket closure, and contribute to production rollout readiness.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (ex. Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, AWS Code Pipeline)
• Expertise in scripting and automation (Shell, Python, Groovy, or comparable)
• Familiarity with SaaS environments, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and Agile delivery
• Experience troubleshooting deployments, resolving build issues, and optimizing pipelines
• Strong collaborative and communication skills - proven ability to integrate quickly into a distributed team

Day in the Life:

Insight Global is looking to hire a Dev Ops/CICD contractor for a fintech company in Canada. The successful candidate will join the existing CI/CD team, accelerate ticket closure, and contribute to production rollout readiness.

• Rapidly execute and resolve CI/CD backlog tickets across DEP SaaS pipelines
• Collaborate daily with the internal CI/CD team for knowledge continuity and issue troubleshooting
• Support automation, build, release, and deployment activities in a high-velocity SaaS environment
• Document fixes, scripts, and workflows, ensuring easy handover at contract completion
• Identify process improvements and operational bottlenecks
• Assist in production rollout preparation by ensuring pipelines are optimized, reliable, and thoroughly tested
• Attend project stand-ups and provide status updates to project leadership
