UX Designer Volunteer STW

Position: UX Designer Volunteer for STW™
Join STW™ as a UX Designer Volunteer to enhance public awareness around water issues. Utilize your design skills to create user-centric experiences while collaborating across various teams.

This volunteer opportunity requires a commitment of at least 5 hours weekly. As a UX Designer, you will design usability tests to optimize the STW™ website while working alongside IT, Marketing, and Fundraising teams. This position is particularly suited for those eager to learn through hands-on projects that support a vital mission in water research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct usability and UX research to enhance web interface

• Partner with developers to align designs with visions

• Serve as an advocate for user experience best practices

• Maintain knowledge of market trends in UX design

• Complete Timesheets weekly to track hours and contributions

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or completed a degree in design

• At least 0.5 years in UX or Interaction Design

• Familiarity with various UX research methods

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

• Strong communication skills for collaboration
