Senior Site Reliability Manager for Google

Take charge as the Site Reliability Manager for Data Center Networking at Google in Waterloo, Ontario. Your mission will focus on driving reliability improvements within a dynamic team environment.

In this leadership role, you will guide a high-performing team that supports the reliability of Google Cloud Platform services. Your efforts will be instrumental in reducing incident resolution time significantly by implementing advanced metrics and tools. Collaborating with PLANET and other SRE groups, you will ensure the design and operation of network products provide high reliability and performance.

• Prioritize workloads for consistent performance

• Own strategic efforts to improve MTTD and MTTM

• Integrate advanced signaling into auto-mitigation systems

• Define Network SLOs with cross-team collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area

• 8 years of software development experience

• 3 years leading technical teams or projects

• Master’s or PhD in relevant field preferred

• Proven ability to enhance system reliability
