IT Field Service Technician

Join our team as an IT Field Service Technician in Kingston, ON, for a 12-month contract with potential extension. Repair and maintain computer systems while providing top-notch user support.

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software systems. Being available for extended hours, including weekends and evenings, is essential. With at least two years of experience as a break/fix technician, you will train employees and ensure their IT needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and peripherals

• Document upgrades and replacements for hardware and software

• Support user accounts, rights, security, and groups

• Train employees and identify product failures

• Recommend suitable products or services for customer needs

Requirements:

• Available for extended hours including weekends

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High school diploma with post-secondary education

• Minimum 2 years as a break/fix Field IT technician

• Extensive knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 operating systems
