Tomlinson Environmental Services is seeking to hire a Field/Yard Labourer. This is a full‑time permanent position located at 633 Fortune Crescent, Kingston, ON. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential to run as late as 7:00 PM, and occasional after‑hours and weekend work. Vacancy type:
Replacement.

• Moving equipment around the yard
• Disposing of waste
• Cleaning drums, totes and pails
• Processing hazardous waste
• Cleaning equipment
• Emptying oil, water and sewage trucks
• Loading and preparing trucks for deliveries
• Conduct safety inspections on equipment
• Ensure that we are meeting the highest possible customer satisfaction standards
• Industrial cleaning and high‑pressure washing
• Confined space entry and rescue
• Working at heights
• Coordinate onsite and offsite activities with dispatch
• Other duties as required

• Must have a valid “G” license minimum with a clean abstract, reliable transportation to and from work is required
• CSA work boots are required
• Loader and heavy equipment experience is an asset
• Industrial cleaning experience, high‑pressure washing, industry experience would be an asset
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours, responding to any after‑hour calls and weekends (when required)
• Ability to deal with customer’s onsite to ensure full understanding of task
• Perform safety inspections on equipment ensuring compliance with workplace safety programs.
• Must have a strong safety knowledge

The expected wage for this position is $22.57 - $27.21 per hour. Placement within this range is dependent on months of service.
