The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is looking for a Caretaker I. This part time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and safety within the school premises. Ideal candidates will have experience in caretaking, possess a high school diploma, and demonstrate physical ability and knowledge of safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the school

• Utilize equipment like floor machines and lawn tractors

• Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures

• Support a healthy environment for students and staff

• Communicate effectively with school personnel

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience

• 3 to 6 months of caretaking experience

• Knowledge of WHMIS and Fire Safety Standards

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lb)

• Proven English reading and writing skills
