Custodian for Recreation Facilities

As a Custodian at the City of Kingston, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of recreation facilities for up to 10 months. You'll also handle facility access and assist other staff members in promoting a hygienic space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleanliness in municipal recreation facilities

• Open, secure and disengage alarm systems for facilities

• Greet and assist customers within recreation spaces

• Beautify entryways and ensure outdoor cleanliness

• Clean and sanitize all touch surfaces thoroughly

Requirements:

• Minimum three months custodial experience

• Valid WHMIS Certification required

• Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer service

• Ability to handle cleaning tools and perform physical tasks

• Must pass a criminal record check
