Position: Part Time Housekeeping Aide at Extendicare

At Extendicare, you will play a crucial role in our housekeeping and maintenance team. You’ll also need to collaborate with various departments and participate in staff meetings and training sessions to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use agents to clean and disinfect areas inside and outside the facility

• Follow protocols for infection prevention and control

• Attend assigned staff meetings and mandatory training

• Collaborate with departments on transferring residents

• Handle heavy lifting and equipment safely

Requirements:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and move equipment

• Follow safety practices diligently

• Provide a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
