Become a vital part of the Upper Canada District School Board as a Custodian. This position focuses on building maintenance, cleaning, and operational support across multiple school sites.

The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a dedicated Custodian under the supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in various school facilities. Ideal candidates will have a secondary school diploma and experience in cleaning and maintenance to help enhance the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dust, wash, and polish classroom and office furniture

• Clean and disinfect washroom facilities and floors

• Replenish classroom and washroom supplies as necessary

• Operate cleaning equipment effectively and safely

• Conduct preventative building maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum six months cleaning and maintenance experience

• Strong knowledge of basic cleaning methods

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access required

• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
