Maintenance Machinist

Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a Maintenance Machinist to join our Gananoque Team. The primary purpose of this position is to provide production support in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. This includes maintaining Tool crib Min/ Max levels of replacement parts, using our machine shop equipment to support those needs, adjusting, and troubleshooting production machinery, and ensuring overall equipment reliability.
The position requires working shifts in a manufacturing environment. Frequent project work such as machine modifications, construction, and installation of new equipment is also required.
The candidate must be able to communicate freely with machine operators, lead hands, supervisors, engineers, and other mechanics daily to improve equipment OEE while ensuring safety and quality targets are maintained.

Shifts will run on Mon – Fri from 7 am – 3pm. After 2-3 months, the incumbent will be asked to be flexible as to working other shifts, as per business needs.
