Job Title: General Labourer - Concrete Manufacturing
Location: Kingston, ON
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Shifts: Rotating weekly between day shift and afternoon shift
Day Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 12:00pm to 8:30pm
We are looking for reliable and physically capable Labourers to support production in a busy manufacturing environment in Kingston. This role involves hands‑on work with concrete products and is suited to someone who is safety‑focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Previous experience in concrete, construction, manufacturing, or using hand and power tools is considered an asset, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities:- Prepare molds and forms for concrete production
- Assist with pouring, stripping, patching, and finishing concrete products
- Place reinforcement, inserts, and hardware as required
- Perform quality checks before and after concrete pours
- Mark products with required job details and specifications
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Assist with general production duties and plant cleanup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals
- Previous construction, concrete, manufacturing, or general labour experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and using tools throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, hot, and fast‑paced plant environment
- Forklift or crane experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Safety boots are required
- Full‑time hours
- Starting pay rate of $22.50 per hour
