The Salvation Army seeks a skilled Christmas Kettle Assistant to manage operations and support campaign staff during the busy holiday season. Your leadership will help promote and oversee Kettle Campaign activities.
This temporary role requires someone adept in coordinating volunteers and staff at various kettle locations. You'll handle scheduling, assist with the orientation of new workers, and maintain efficient operations while fostering relationships. Your keen organizational skills will be vital in ensuring all kettles are equipped and ready for service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily operations for kettle staff and volunteers
• Manage scheduling and respond to last-minute absences
• Assist with orientation and performance management
• Oversee kettle delivery and secure donation handling
• Host kettles as needed and ensure adequate literature supply
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year experience in community programs
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
