Lead impactful nursing care at the Secure Treatment Unit while specializing in mental health recovery and rehabilitation. This Team Leader Registered Nurse role combines leadership with specialized nursing skills.
The Secure Treatment Unit is searching for a dedicated Team Leader Registered Nurse with an emphasis on mental health and addiction. Candidates should have up to three months of nursing experience. Your leadership will play a key role in assessments and stabilization within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care for mental health patients
• Lead the interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans
• Conduct assessments using the Risk Needs Responsivity Model
• Facilitate psychosocial rehabilitation modules effectively
• Ensure compliance with the College of Nurses standards
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Up to three months of nursing experience
• Deep knowledge of mental health and addiction issues
• Valid CPR certification within the last 12 months
• Strong communication and leadership skills
