Successful candidates will have a diploma in Practical Nursing, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and a rigorous understanding of the RPN scope of practice. Key Responsibilities:
• Support various hospital units as needed
• Assess patients' physical and mental health
• Conduct glucometer readings and basic assessments
• Administer medications and oxygen therapy
• Engage fully as a member of the care team
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Practical Nursing program
• Current registration with the Nursing College
• CPR/AED Certification within the last 2 years
• Basic computer skills; bilingualism is a plus
• Preferred: experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing
