As a Registered Practical Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse, your duties will include:
- Provide client care by utilizing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching.
- Act as the nurse in charge in the setting and report to the immediate supervisor at the branch office if required.
- Provide care according to the established care plan, ensuring the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients on an ongoing basis.
- Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and the Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body.
- Perform specialized nursing procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program.
- Maintain current registration with the provincial licensing body.
- Provide a clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Show proof of being free from TB.
- Supply two supervisory references.
- Be prepared to provide proof of required vaccinations (e.g., COVID‑19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu) depending on provincial regulations and the position applied for.
