Registered Practical Nurse Mental Health Care

This 1-year temporary role requires a valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and previous experience in acute mental health settings. You will provide compassionate care through developing nursing care plans, performing interventions, and closely collaborating with the clinical team to achieve patient goals for independence and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather comprehensive nursing histories from various sources

• Create and implement care plans focused on immediate needs

• Execute nursing interventions with measurable outcomes

• Ensure compliance with prescribed medical protocols

• Evaluate and adjust care plans as necessary
Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent practice in acute psychiatric nursing

• Up-to-date CPR certification
