In this nursing position, you’ll provide specialized care to patients undergoing rehabilitation for mental health issues. An ideal candidate is a graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing Diploma Program, with current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Your clinical skills will foster healing and navigate complex patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs

• Assist with vital signs, medication administration, and assessments

• Build therapeutic rapport with patients to support recovery

• Engage meaningfully in the interdisciplinary team

• Ensure safety and effective care in the treatment unit
Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing Program

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent CPR/AED certification required

• Familiarity with psychiatric nursing concepts preferred

• Proficient in basic computer skills for patient care documentation
