As a NSWOC Nurse at Para Med, you will provide specialized assessment, care, and education to patients facing wound, ostomy, and continence issues. You'll collaborate with a supportive team of peers, contributing to patient health through evidence-based practices. Your efforts will enhance the quality of care in the community while fostering strong relationships with patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage wound, ostomy, and continence care
• Educate nursing teams and patients effectively
• Provide recommendations for specialist products
• Precept and support new nursing staff as needed
• Ensure adherence to clinical best practices
Requirements:
• Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC)
• Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience
• Current membership with NSWOCC preferred
• Bilingual candidates are preferred
• International Interprofessional Wound Care Course may be considered
