As the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you will be responsible for delivering care that aligns with the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Your role will encompass performing clinical assessments, creating effective nursing care plans, and recognizing patient needs to enhance their overall quality of life. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will support both patients and their families through transitional care, ensuring a holistic treatment approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile nursing histories based on diverse information
• Formulate goal-oriented nursing care plans with patients
• Carry out clinical interventions and manage patient responses
• Adhere strictly to recommended medical protocols
• Review and optimize care plans continuously
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted nursing license from Ontario
• Up-to-date CPR certification necessary
• College certificate required; diploma preferred
• Essential Medication Certificate if graduated prior to 1985
• Strong judgement and evaluation skills essential
