- Salary 62.00 to 75.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 24 to 40 hours per week
- Terms of employment Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting- Hospital/medical facility or clinic
- Private practice

- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team
- Coordinate patient care
- Evaluate patient care and progress
- Implement an interdisciplinary plan of care
- Interpret medical test results
- Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition
- Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
- Plan patient care
- Provide end-of-life counselling and bereavement support to patients and their families
- Advise patients on drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs
- Ensure infection control
- Support and facilitate the grieving process for the patient and their family
- Care for, assess and monitor the health of newborns and refer infants to appropriate medical services as required
- Provide advice and guidance regarding care for newborns and young infants
- Provide primary, full-course, care to women and their babies during pregnancy, labour, birth and the post‑natal period including monitoring the health of mother and baby
- Advise patients on health care
- Examine patients and take their medical histories and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
- Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments and take medical histories
- Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
- Provide health maintenance education
- Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs
- Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits and reshape their approach to wellness
