As an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, you will work with autonomy to diagnose, prescribe treatments, and perform necessary procedures. Collaborating with a dedicated inter-professional team, your responsibilities include implementing evidence-based practices and acting as a mentor. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes within a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct clinical care to patients and families
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team on care plans
• Participate in research to improve patient outcomes
• Educate and mentor nursing staff and students
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse in Extended Class, College of Nurses of Ontario
• Relevant Master's degree in Nursing or discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the clinical area
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
