Join the team at Providence Care Hospital as a Full Time Registered Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, effective care in a supportive environment. You'll assist patients and manage their care transitions to enhance quality of life.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will work within an inter-professional team to deliver care that meets the physical and emotional needs of patients in a non-acute setting. Key responsibilities include evaluating health statuses, advocating for patients, and modifying care plans based on patient responses. This role requires a commitment to safe, effective nursing practices guided by the College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe, effective patient care across complex needs
• Assist in evaluating patient health statuses
• Establish priorities for therapeutic and rehabilitative care
• Advocate for patient and caregiver involvement in decision-making
• Modify and report on patient care plans as needed
Requirements:
• Active license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR certification required
• College certificate needed; diploma preferred
• Medication Certificate if graduated before 1985
