Deliver exceptional patient care as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse at Providence Care Hospital. Collaborate with an inter-professional team to assist patients and enhance their quality of life.
At Providence Care Hospital, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) supports patients in a non-acute setting. This position requires an active license from the College of Nurses of Ontario and strong competencies in patient care. The RPN's role includes assessing health status, advocating for patients, and modifying care plans based on outcomes to ensure safe practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe and effective patient care daily
• Evaluate health status for patients with defined care needs
• Establish care priorities, focusing on rehabilitation and wellness
• Advocate for patients and their decision-making rights
• Modify care plans based on patient responses and evaluations
Requirements:
• Active license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR certification required
• College certificate or diploma preferred
• Medication Certificate from Ontario College of Nurses post-1985
• Proven competency in patient care
