Enhance the lives of oncology patients at Kingston Health Sciences Centre as a part-time Registered Nurse. This role requires expertise in chemotherapy and a commitment to patient-centered care.
As an essential part of the Cancer Centre team, your responsibilities include fostering effective communication with healthcare professionals and ensuring compliance with nursing standards. You will lead care initiatives, participate in workshops, and support staff development while providing compassionate nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members for patient care efficiency
• Develop clinical guidelines for oncology patient populations
• Ensure adherence to best practices and safety standards
• Monitor and manage patient care equipment needs
• Prepare patients for systemic therapies
Requirements:
• Registration eligibility with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Required Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 2 years’ experience in Oncology Nursing preferred
• Commitment to professional growth and teamwork
