Mental Health Registered Nurse Position

In this temporary role, you must hold current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have recent experience in an acute psychiatric environment. Your focus will be on developing collaborative nursing care plans and building rapport with patients and families to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Effective analysis of patient responses is vital for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing histories based on patient and family input

• Develop collaborative, goal-based nursing care plans

• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families

• Accurately follow prescribed medical treatment plans

• Analyze and manage responses to ensure effective care

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting required

• CPR certification must be valid

• BSc.N. is preferred for this nursing position

• Skilled judgment and autonomy are essential
