This position requires a Registered Practical Nurse focused on providing nursing care to individuals with mental health challenges. Your responsibilities include developing personalized care plans and reevaluating patient responses, ensuring optimal outcomes. A strong background in acute psychiatric nursing will be essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather nursing histories from patients and other sources
• Formulate care plans that address immediate patient needs
• Manage nursing interventions with appropriate outcomes
• Implement prescribed medical treatments accurately
• Assess and revise nursing care plans as needed
Requirements:
• Must hold current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in acute psychiatric nursing is necessary
• Current CPR certification required
