As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team focusing on outpatient appointments and providing essential nursing care to patients undergoing stem cell transplants. Your responsibilities will include patient education, care planning, and monitoring. Adhering to hospital policies, you will ensure patient safety and promote a culture of engagement with staff and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate outpatient care and stem cell treatments
• Administer chemotherapy and manage blood transfusions
• Monitor patient progress pre and post-transplant
• Educate families and staff on transplantation processes
• Uphold health safety regulations and respond to hazards
Requirements:
• College of Nurses of Ontario registration eligibility
• Baccalaureate in Nursing required
• Preferred 2 years in oncology nursing
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven ability to manage clinical functions effectively
