Travel Emergency Nurse in Nova Scotia

This contract role requires at least two years of strong Emergency Department experience and active nursing registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing. You'll manage trauma, medical emergencies, and acute presentations while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and direct nursing care for patients
• Administer medications, including intravenous treatments
• Perform rapid triage assessments using the CTAS framework
• Complete documentation accurately at shift end
• Manage high-acuity emergencies and participate in code situations
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in an Emergency Department
• Active NSCN registration or eligibility
• Current Basic Life Support Level C certification
• Fluent in English with legal right to work in Canada
• Strong preference for CTAS triage competency
