Join Aspira Waterford Kingston Retirement Living as a Registered Practical Nurse, providing vital overnight care to residents. This role focuses on compassionate nursing and relationship-building within a supportive team environment.
Embrace a full-time position that offers 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 80.5 hours bi-weekly. Your experience in geriatric care will be critical while you administer medications, document patient interactions, and guide unregulated workers. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate nursing care to residents
• Administer and manage prescribed medications
• Maintain accurate documentation and respond to concerns
• Assist in care planning and health education initiatives
• Offer training and support to junior staff members
Requirements:
• RPN registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least one year in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Completed BCLS and Medication Administration courses
• Valid work permit for Canada
• Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
