Enhance community mental health as a Registered Nurse Team Leader at the Secure Treatment Unit. Leverage your psychiatric nursing skills to facilitate rehabilitation and treatment integration.
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading initiatives and conducting comprehensive mental health assessments. This position mandates registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and requires up to three months of nursing experience. You will coordinate treatment plans and guide staff through rapidly evolving situations to foster effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead mental health nursing initiatives in the unit
• Perform evidence-based mental health assessments
• Coordinate treatment plans across disciplines
• Mentor staff amidst changing environments
• Promote teamwork and effective communication
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Nursing experience up to 3 months
• Understanding of mental health and addiction problems
• CPR certification obtained in the last year
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
