Become a vital part of Age Care as a Registered Practical Nurse, delivering expert care to residents in a supportive community. Engage in nursing practices with Personal Support Workers while ensuring compliance with medical standards.
Age Care is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in alignment with regulations and professional standards. In this role, you will collaborate with a Registered Nurse, liaise with healthcare professionals, and guide Personal Support Workers. Your contributions help ensure the well-being of residents in geriatric and long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies in collaboration with Registered Nurse
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Direct the care delivered by Personal Support Workers
• Participate in shift reports with healthcare staff
• Monitor significant changes in resident status
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations
• Strong understanding of nursing practice standards
• Commitment to team-oriented care
Contribute to enhancing residents' quality of life through compassionate nursing care at Age Care.
