Become a Team Leader Registered Nurse at the Secure Treatment Unit, enhancing mental health care through leadership and expertise. Use your psychiatric nursing skills for effective rehabilitation.
This pivotal role requires current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and up to three months of nursing experience. You'll lead initiatives and coordinate mental health assessments while promoting team collaboration. Your ability to guide staff in changing circumstances is critical for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead nursing initiatives within the Secure Treatment Unit
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary treatment planning
• Direct staff amidst dynamic situations
• Encourage teamwork and improving communication
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Up to 3 months of nursing experience required
• Knowledge about mental health and addiction issues
• Current CPR certification within the last year
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Lead with psychiatric nursing expertise to support community reintegration in the Secure Treatment Unit.
