Take on a pivotal role as a Nurse Practitioner MRP at Kingston General Hospital, providing advanced patient-centered care in a full-time temporary capacity. Your work will contribute significantly to quality healthcare delivery on varied schedules.
As a Nurse Practitioner MRP, you will independently assess, diagnose, and manage patient treatments alongside interprofessional teams. This role also emphasizes leadership in nursing, offering opportunities for mentorship and fostering best practices, enhancing both patient and staff experiences across Kingston Health Sciences Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
• Autonomously manage comprehensive patient care
• Collaborate with teams to improve patient outcomes
• Develop and implement guidelines for nursing excellence
• Mentor and provide education to nursing staff
• Advocate for patients in complex healthcare pathways
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years in clinical nursing
• Prior MRP experience is preferred
• Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills
