Join our Complex Care Unit as a Registered Nurse, providing exceptional nursing services in a part-time role. Contribute to patient recovery while adhering to nursing standards.
As part of our dynamic team, you will leverage your nursing skills to provide individualized care to patients, particularly in stroke and palliative settings. Your ongoing education and participation in quality assurance initiatives will be essential in promoting a safe and effective care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care
• Participate in ongoing continuing education programs
• Engage in collective service activities for quality improvement
• Guide and support junior nursing staff and PSWs
• Implement risk management strategies in patient care
Requirements:
• Valid BScN and registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Up-to-date BCLS, First Aid, and I.V. certifications
• Experience with patients in rehabilitation and palliative settings
• Preference for candidates with digital literacy and teaching skills
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
