Oncology Nurse Stem Cell Care

Deliver exceptional nursing care as a part-time Oncology Nurse in the Stem Cell Transplant Program at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Day shifts available for dedicated healthcare providers.
In this role, you will work under the guidance of the transplant team leaders, participating in appointment scheduling and providing critical patient care connected to stem cell transplants. Your expertise in nursing and patient education will enhance the experience for patients and families alike. Commitment to safety and effective communication is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan outpatient treatment appointments and follow-ups
• Administer stem cell infusions and chemotherapy
• Monitor and assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Offer educational support to patients and families
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and workplace conduct
Requirements:
• Registration eligibility with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Baccalaureate in Nursing required
• Preferred experience in stem cell transplant
• Advanced competencies in chemotherapy administration
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills
