Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse

Extendicare is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for part-time work at Arbour Heights Home in Kingston, ON. Be a leader in resident care and guide personal care staff effectively.

This role involves providing patient-centered care while supervising and evaluating personal care staff. You'll be responsible for developing and assessing resident care plans, along with orienting new team members. The position consists of 30 hours biweekly on the 3-11 pm shift, focusing on ongoing mentorship and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate resident care plans regularly

• Lead, supervise, and direct personal care staff

• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff

Requirements:

• Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses

• Demonstrated compassion and professionalism

• Effective English communication skills
