As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at KHSC, you will leverage your autonomy and expertise to diagnose, prescribe, and manage patient care in accordance with nursing regulations. Collaborating with an interprofessional team, you'll enhance the well-being of patients while ensuring adherence to best practices in clinical management and evidence-based research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct clinical care to patients of all ages
• Diagnose and interpret diagnostic tests autonomously
• Prescribe medications and perform specific procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient care
• Mentor nursing staff and students within the program
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with Extended Class in Ontario
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
• Master’s degree in Nursing or relevant discipline
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
