Perioperative Registered Practical Nurse at KHSC

KHSC is looking for a skilled Registered Practical Nurse for part-time and full-time roles, including on-call shifts. You will collaborate with surgical teams, uphold aseptic techniques, and support patients before, during, and after procedures. Strong teamwork, communication, and a proactive approach to patient care are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub duties and anticipate surgeons’ needs

• Maintain safety during instrument handling and patient care

• Assist in lifting and transporting patients

• Promote respect and advocacy for patients

• Ensure a comfortable patient care environment

Requirements:

• Graduate of Registered Practical Nurse Diploma Program

• Perioperative Nursing Certificate from an accredited program

• Current CNO registration

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities

• Satisfactory criminal reference check
