Position: Registered Nurse for Community Care Team
Join Providence Care as a Registered Nurse in the Assertive Community Treatment program. Focus on psychiatric nursing, medication management, and support services for clients with complex needs.

As a key member of an interprofessional team, the Registered Nurse provides psychiatric nursing expertise. This role requires assessing client needs, medication administration, and consulting with other nursing staff on complex cases. You will also create client-centered assessments and plan treatment and recovery strategies while coordinating services for a designated group of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop therapeutic relationships with clients and families

• Administer medications and medical services as needed

• Conduct ongoing assessments and provide skill training

• Support individuals with daily living activities and leisure planning

• Coordinate work-related supportive services for clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum three years' nursing experience in mental health

• Two years of community nursing experience preferred

• Experience with diverse community settings, including home support
